2025 Spring/Summer League Registration

OGSA is excited to announce that registration for our 2025 Spring/Summer leagues is now open!  The registration process is mostly unchanged from previous years.  Individual players and teams are welcome to register in most age divisions.  Once the registration process is complete, OGSA personnel will assign individual players to teams of girls with similar skills and capabilities.  If you have preferences in this area, please communicate those preferences in the comment section of your registration, but keep in mind it’s not always possible to place a group of individual players in an upper league. It’s impossible for us to know individuals skill level, or how well the team will play together – most of the time the individual registration teams will be placed in the lowest level in their age group.

A detailed overview and description of OGSA’s Spring/Summer leagues are available on our League Overview page.

To begin the registration process, please click on the appropriate link below. Once you review the instructions, you will be provided appropriate links to complete your registration.

Thank you for your interest in and support of Olathe Girls Softball.  We look forward to a positive and rewarding year for the players, coaches and families of OGSA!

League Registration Updates & Resources

Thank you for showing interest in our upcoming Spring/Summer season! If you’re just beginning to register or encountering difficulties in the process, don’t worry, we’re here to assist you!

The registration process can be daunting, particularly for newcomers to softball or our organization, OGSA. We’re aware that prompt responses to your questions are essential to keep the registration moving smoothly. Therefore, we’ve updated our documentation and registration procedures to enhance your experience. Should you have any further questions after going through the information below, please contact us at support@ogsa-ks.zendesk.com (this is only OGSA email that is monitored and tracked by multiple staff members).

A major update for the upcoming season concerns the Team Registration option. This is intended for teams with a full roster, their own uniforms, and insurance. Previously, coaches/managers could use our LeagueApps software to send player invitations and invoices to parents. While this seemed effective, it led to a lot of confusion and unpaid invoices, overburdening all parties. From this season forward, for the Team Registration option, coaches/managers will need to pay for their entire team at the time of registration. We appreciate your understanding in this matter, as we believe it benefits everyone involved.

We’ve recently refreshed our documentation and included additional resources to help answer your questions. Again, if there are any remaining questions after reviewing the information below, feel free to reach out to us at support@ogsa-ks.zendesk.com.

MLK Day Softball Clinic with Rockhurst University

OGSA is pleased to announce we will partner with Rockhurst University for two softball clinics on MLK Day, January 20th, 2025. A morning clinic and an afternoon clinic will be offered once again. The sessions are based on age so please pay attention to that when signing up.  We are fortunate to have the Rockhurst Coaches and Players to provide instruction and share their years of experience and skills.  Rockhurst is now coached by Dana Goss, and she has facilitated our clinics in the past, and does an amazing job.

Coach Dana Goss is entering her 22nd season as a college coach. Dana has worked at all levels of the game from competitive youth to the NCAA Division I level. In 2005 she was voted the region XVI Coach of the Year and NFCA Coaching staff of the year as she led her team, Maple Woods CC to the College World Series. Dana was at the helm of Avila University when the team won a conference title and earned a spot in the NAIA National Tournament. The team was featured on ESPN as the Top Play on Sports Center while making quite the splash during their magical post season run. Dana has been a part of the direct development of numerous All-Conference, All-Region, and All-American players. She has coached the KCAC player of the year in 2019 and the HEART Pitcher of the Year in 2016. Now in her second season at Rockhurst University this season, she looks to continue to push the nationally recognized program forward.

At this clinic, all aspect of the game of softball will be covered from base running to fielding. There will also be breakout sessions to go over specific positions (infield/outfield and pitching/catching). Campers will also have the opportunity to get their t-shirts signed by the Rockhurst University players! In the past, some girls preferred they get a softball signed – so bring an extra softball if you would like to get that signed instead.

The morning session is from 9am-Noon and is for players 12 and younger. The afternoon session is from 1-4pm and is for campers ages 12 and above.

Price is $65.00 per player. This includes a camp t-shirt, so make sure you select the correct size when registering as this is the size we will go off of. In order to guarantee your camp t-shirt the day of, player must be registered by January 13th at midnight

Details and Registration is available at the following link. We encourage you to register early as the camp does have an entry limit.
