2024 Fall League Registration Now Open!

Join us for Fall Ball this season! Options for Sundays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.  Last year all three days were popular options.  Divisions and space will be limited so sign up early.  The following links will allow you to see league options and details and to register.  We hope to see you this Fall!

There are two major differences between our spring and fall leagues, fall registration is limited to teams only (no individual registrations) and standings (wins and losses) will not be kept in any division. If your daughter does not have a team or your existing team is in need of a few players please post/share your information via our recruiting section on our website so interested parties can contact you directly. The Recruiting section on our website can be located from our main menu > Resources>Recruiting, select the appropriate link for your needs.

Our fall league will begin play August 18th. 8U teams will play a total of five games and non 8U teams will play five double headers. Within each age group, divisions may be consolidated (A+B, B+C, etc.) due to the amount of registered teams (four team minimum required for a division). No games will be played on 9/2 – Labor Day weekend.

Please note for Fall, we take team registrations only and you will need to have your insurance which you can purchase through USA softball.  The birthdate for age eligibility is based on the age of the player as of August 31st, 2024.  Whatever age you are on August 31st is the age you can play.  This national change by USA Softball aligns players to be more in line with their school year age and changes the previous date from January 1st.  If you have questions about the new requirements for age classification or have questions about insurance, please reach out to USA Softball JO Commissioner Mary Mahoney at kcmetroasa@aol.com

We strongly encourage you to challenge your team in the Fall and play at the highest level possible based on an honest assessment of the teams capabilities.  If you are a tournament team in 10, 12, 14U you should play above the league “C” level.  8U teams may be split into different divisions based on majority age groups and first or second year teams.  10U Kid/Coach is a great place in the Fall to move competitive 8U teams up to in order to prepare them for more advanced softball games in the future. We do not keep scores in the Fall and there are no awards, so use the Fall season for reps, games, experience, and to challenge your teams.

Fall league pricing
8U 5 game schedule = $475 per team
10U-14U 10 game schedule (5 double headers) = $800 per team

Practice Field Schedule Available

Coaches…If you haven’t yet secured a practice slot, please make sure to do so at your earliest convenience to ensure your teams spot on the schedule! Just a friendly reminder that practice fields will remain available until the season commences. Once the season kicks off, open fields will operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Head coaches should have received an email containing the practice field request link upon team registration. In case you haven’t received the link, kindly reach out to us at support@ogsa-ks.zendesk.com, and we’ll promptly send it your way. It’s important to note that team or individual invoices must be settled in full by 3/17. Failure to do so may result in the removal of your team’s practice field assignment from the schedule.

Practices officially starts the week of 3/18!

Click here for the practice field schedule or you can find it under the League Menu>Practice Schedule

League Registration Updates & Resources

Thank you for showing interest in our upcoming Spring/Summer season! If you’re just beginning to register or encountering difficulties in the process, don’t worry, we’re here to assist you!

The registration process can be daunting, particularly for newcomers to softball or our organization, OGSA. We’re aware that prompt responses to your questions are essential to keep the registration moving smoothly. Therefore, we’ve updated our documentation and registration procedures to enhance your experience. Should you have any further questions after going through the information below, please contact us at support@ogsa-ks.zendesk.com (this is only OGSA email that is monitored and tracked by multiple staff members).

A major update for the upcoming season concerns the Team Registration option. This is intended for teams with a full roster, their own uniforms, and insurance. Previously, coaches/managers could use our LeagueApps software to send player invitations and invoices to parents. While this seemed effective, it led to a lot of confusion and unpaid invoices, overburdening all parties. From this season forward, for the Team Registration option, coaches/managers will need to pay for their entire team at the time of registration. We appreciate your understanding in this matter, as we believe it benefits everyone involved.

We’ve recently refreshed our documentation and included additional resources to help answer your questions. Again, if there are any remaining questions after reviewing the information below, feel free to reach out to us at support@ogsa-ks.zendesk.com.
