On Saturday, during Pool Play, teams are encouraged to dress up in costumes!  Make sure to stop by the office to get your team’s picture taken.  The first and second place teams (as long as 5 or more teams in your division participate) will receive money off their next OGSA tournament entry!!!

  • Be prepared to play Friday evening (depending on number of teams)

This is a USA event and is open to any USA Softball registered team.  Non-USA Softball teams will require a $35 USA team registration fee valid thru 08/31/21.

We will pick our bounty team in each age division Thursday night before the tournament. This will be available to watch on our Facebook page, but we will also send an email out to all of the coaches. These teams will be chosen at random. The team that knocks them out in bracket play will receive a gift from Academy Sports!! If the bounty team happens to win the tournament, they will receive the prize!!! Register early, as this one will fill up fast!!

7-Game Format – 6 Pool Play games followed by Single Elimination.

10-Open division = 5-Game Format + reduced entry fee!


OUT of TOWN TEAMS > we are NOT a stay-to-play event!  You can stay wherever you want!

We do have a list of hotels offering discounts but you are not required to stay there!

Join us in honoring Fred Lovsky, a longtime OGSA board member and a vital part of Olathe Girls Softball Association. 

We would also like to honor the loved ones who have been affected by cancer by creating a team banner and hanging it on the backside of your team’s dugout.  These banners can be as creative as you would like with messages of love and support for those affected by cancer.  (Keep in mind it will need to be removed quickly following your game so that the next team can get their banner up)

While the name says Club all teams are welcomed to participate this weekend!

This weekend is about team bonding, team building, and of course softball!

Each Team will play 4 games during the course of the weekend however there are even more challenges for each team to participate to see which Club has what it takes to be on TOP!

There will be challenges for each age group!

  • PITCHING DUEL (Individual contest)
  • HOME RUN DERBY (Individual Contest)
  • OBSTACLE COURSE (Team Contest)
  • STAR DRILL (Team Contest- going up against teams in own age group)
  • KICKBALL (Team Contest)
  • POP TIMES (Individual Contest)
  • BEST BUNTER( Individual Contest)
  • LONGEST THROW (Individual Contest)

THE CLUB WITH THE MOST POINTS AT THE END WILL WIN BRAGGING RIGHTS AND  1 FREE HEARTLAND YOUTH FOUNDATION TOURNAMENT FOR EACH TEAM OF THE WINNING CLUB  WHO PARTICIPATED IN THIS WEEKENDS EVENT!  *(excludes World Series, Invitationals, & Showcase.)

POINTS ARE BASED ON FINISHES

Softball Games

  • 10 points for each Win
  • 5 Points for a TIE
  • 50 points for over all best record!  ASA Tie Breaker rules will be used to determine finishes!
  • 25 points for over all 2nd best record!
  • 15 points for over all 3rd best record!
  • 10 points for over all 4th best record!
  • 5 points for over all 5th best record.

Individual/Team and Club Contests

  • 10 points for 1st place
  • 8 points for 2nd place
  • 6 points for 3rd place
  • 5 points for 4th place
  • 4 points for 5th place
  • 3 points for 6th place
  • 2 points for 7th place
  • 1 point for 8th place

The Club Challenge Events will all be held at OGSA this weekend!
Games will be between OGSA and Lone Elm Complexes!

This is a Northern National Qualifier.  Berths are given to 1st and 2nd place teams.  All teams who receive a berth to Northern Nationals must participate in Metros.  Also teams may wish to attend another territory national with prior approval from Mary Mahoney (kcmetroasa@aol.com).
